Well this weekend my wife and I were only about 50% RAW.... We could have been much better, but we both had a hankering for some bread, and so my wife made her Gluten Free Multigrain bread. When she makes this, we make these really good Pepperoni, Salami and Cheese sandwiches. They are truly great. I also had some luncheon meat sandwiches on Friday and Saturday. Again, we could have been much better, but we were not....
On a positive note, I just finished reading the book "Eating In The Raw" from Carol Alt. It was a quick and easy book that really laid out a nice and easy plan to move to a raw diet. I am looking forward to reading some more books on the subject and working toward 100% RAW...
My wife and have set a date of 01.01.08 as the 100% RAW date. We are going to work more and more toward that goal, and hopefully achieve it sooner. My wife is already in the 80% range, and I am about 65-70% range. I am shooting for 80-85% by the end of september, and then work the last 15-20% over the holiday season. I am glad that we are doing this when we are, as starting during the holiday season would be tourture. This way we will be most of the way done when we hit the hard times.
So, day by day making good choices is the plan.
